Welcome
Promoting the universal call to holiness, the Secretariat for Family, Laity, Women and Youth serves three standing committees and one subcommittee for the Bishops: The Committee on the Laity and its subcommittee: The Subcommittee on Youth and Young Adults; The Committee on Marriage and Family; and the Committee on Women in Society and in the Church.
Each committee is composed of an elected Bishop Chairman, as well as Bishop members from different parts of the country, advisors, and consultants who have particular expertise in areas of interest to the Committee. Committees are established for a term of three years and generally meet three times a year.

Including information on older persons, distance learning programs, the Lay Survey, Lay Directory, & the Laity Link
- Subcommittee on Youth and Young Adults
Including information on World Youth Day, Youth Ministry, (11-18) and Young Adult Ministry (18-39)
- Committee on Marriage and Family
Including information on Men, Divorce and Remarriage, & Same sex unions
- Committee on Women in Society and in the Church
Including information about Domestic Violence, Women & Spirituality in the Workplace, and Women in Church leadership
