The National Conference of Catholic Bishops' annual Fall meeting takes place November 15-18 at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, Washington.

Meetings are open to credentialed media.

Credentials: On-site credentialing and credential pick-up begin Sunday, November 14, at 3 p.m. in the Conference Theatre. Credentialing continues throughout the meeting.

Media Center is in the Conference Theatre.

Hours of operation:

Sunday, November 14, at 3 p.m -8 p.m.
Monday -Wednesday, Nov. 15-17, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 18, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Press conferences follow immediately after morning and afternoon public sessions, Monday -Thursday, in Columbia B.

Schedule:

Monday: 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. -5 p.m.
Tuesday: 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (There is no public session Tuesday afternoon)
Wednesday: 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; 2 p.m.-5 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m.-noon.

Agenda: Items on the agenda include a Pastoral Message on Charity, a statement on Older Persons in the Church and Society, a Pastoral Plan for Adult Faith Formation, a Proposal to Develop a new National Catechetical Directory, Norms for Application of Ex Corde Ecclesiae (the papal document on the relationship between the Church and Catholic higher education), a message on the Occasion of the Jubilee Year 2000, and several liturgy items, including a preliminary discussion of a statement on the environment for worship.
