Pope John Paul II has appointed Father James P. Moroney, Executive Director of the Bishops' Secretariat for the Liturgy, as a Consultor to the Vatican's Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. He is only the fourth person from the United States to be named as a Consultor to the Congregation.
