The Polish National Catholic-Roman Catholic dialogue was established in 1984 at the request of Pope John Paul II. It currently meets once each year with Bishop John E. Mack serving as co-chairman for the Polish National Catholics and Bishop Mitchell Rozanski for the Roman Catholics. After twenty two years of dialogue, in 2006, the dialogue was able to produce a "Joint Declaration on Unity". Since that time, the members of the dialogue continue to meet to discuss bringing their churches closer together. Fr. Ronald Roberson, CSP, currently staffs this dialogue for the Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs Office.
